Sonata Transform is designed with style and sophistication. Engine
The Sonata Transform is available in three variants one petrol version and two diesel version. The petrol variant is propelled by an advanced 2.4L Theta II engine that generates 174 bhp. This highend engine technology delivers robust acceleration and This engine is mated to dual VTVT mechanism and 5speed manual transmission to improve drivability fuel efficiency and performance. Dual VTVT is a mechanism that involves variable valve timing for exhaust as well as intake. This mechanism in association with the efficient engine helps reduce emissions.
The diesel variant is powered by a 2.0L Common Rail engine CRDi mated to Variable Geometry Turbocharger VGT. This engine generates 149 bhp of power delivering improved performance and enhanced fuel efficiency. Diesel variant is available in a choice of 6speed manual transmission and a 4speed HMatic transmission. HMatic transmission offers an option to switch between the auto and sports mode.
